Terms of service

The rules that apply when you create a NordAI account, pay for a plan, or use the API and CLI.

Last updated: 29 October 2026. These terms form an agreement between you and NordAI ("we", "us") for use of the NordAI website, API and command-line tools. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

1. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity performed with your account, API keys and device credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a guardian, to purchase a paid plan.
  • We may suspend an account that violates these terms or the acceptable use policy.

2. Plans, quotas and fair use

  • Plans are defined by four independent limits: daily requests, monthly requests, requests per minute and concurrent requests, plus a maximum output size. The current values are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard.
  • No plan is unlimited. Requests that exceed a limit are rejected before they reach an AI provider.
  • Quotas reset at 00:00 Asia/Jakarta daily and on the first day of each month at 00:00 Asia/Jakarta.
  • Model availability depends on third-party providers and can change. Disabled or rate-limited models may be temporarily unavailable; we do not guarantee any specific model or throughput.

3. Paid subscriptions and payments

  • A paid plan is a {30}-day subscription unless the plan configuration states otherwise. The price you pay is the price recorded on your invoice at checkout.
  • Invoices are created on our server with a unique order id and expire 30 minutes after creation. A subscription is activated only after the payment provider confirms settlement to our webhook and the signature and amount match.
  • Browser redirects, screenshots or manual claims are not proof of payment. Payments that arrive after an invoice expires require manual reconciliation.
  • Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law, or where a duplicate or incorrect charge is verified by us. Contact support with the order id.
  • Prices may change for future billing periods; an active subscription is not repriced mid-term.

4. AI providers and outputs

  • Requests are routed through a self-hosted router to third-party AI providers. Those providers' terms also apply to the content you send.
  • Model output can be incorrect, incomplete or insecure. You are responsible for reviewing code before you run or deploy it.
  • We do not guarantee that any model is free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not offer a service-level agreement unless a separate written agreement says so. Maintenance, upstream outages and capacity limits can interrupt access. The status page reports live probe results, not historical guarantees.

6. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, abuse, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; sections that by their nature survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers and liability limits) continue to apply.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NordAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business opportunity. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the dashboard or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
